We advise on issues such as homelessness and the threat of homelessness, housing benefit, rent arrears, landlord & tenant problems, private renting, repossession action by landlords and security of tenure, housing conditions & disrepair, overcrowding, housing & relationship breakdown, domestic violence, racial and other types of harassment, applications for social housing and supported accommodation. Our Legal Team are experts in housing law. If you are eligible for legal aid they can give you free advice and legal representation. If you are not eligible for legal aid they may still be able to give you legal advice and representation for a fee under a conditional fee agreement. Our legal teams can help you with things including: possession hearings or evictions, illegal evictions by landlords, antisocial behaviour injunctions and decisions made by the local authority. Every day we hold drop in service from 9.30am - 12 noon. No appointment is necessary, but you may need to wait to be seen. We also offer pre-booked appointments throughout the day and you can call us during our office hours.
