BDP - Bristol Drugs Project


Providing services for Bristol ROADS (Recovery Orientated Alcohol @ Drugs Service). Dedicated support to help people reduce the harm drugs and alcohol can cause. Providing outreach and inreach support to access Bristol ROADS. BDP's Shared Care team work in GP Practices to provide alochol detox or an opioid substitute prescription and detox.

Other services

Free naloxone supply and training. A lifesaving drug which temporarily reverses the effects of an opioid overdose from drugs such as heroin, methadone and morphine. It can be used to help buy time and keep the casualty alive until the ambulance arrives.

A social group for women with past or current problematic alcohol or drug use, to meet and talk to other women in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. Weekly crafts and workshop activities. Speak to staff one to one, to discuss anything confidentially and refer yourself into Bristol ROADS.
